Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a few battery issues I've had with the m92
Basically when the battery runs out, the machine appears to hang or die.
What I have found helps is to open the m92 up unplug the battery - then it goes off (ie: the screen goes blank).
(In order to unplug the battery, you need to open up the m92, with screwdriver).
Plug the battery back in, close the m92 up.
Then re-charge the battery via usb mini-usb from a wall charger.
(I think charging from usb wall charger gives better results).
I'm sure that over time this problem will go away. I think I remember Booxtor saying it takes about 5 cycles of emptying and then charging the battery before it sort of "starts working nicely".
I bought the m92 about 3 months ago, it's just that the battery needs so little charging that I"m only about to get to the 5 times emtpy/charging landmark.
Anway, the screwdriver I use is the one for really tiny phillips screws. It's the same one I bought for opening my Nintendo DSi. They advertise the screwdriver as "PSP DSi XL Repair Tool Phillips Screwdriver".
I have attached a copy of the screwdriver, if that helps.
Anyway, I have a feeling that there may have been people who thought their boox m92 was broken when it wasn't and just needed the "unplug/replug the battery" routine.
Have fun
